This page is to provide you with information and work pertaining to reading, novel and spelling.

Below you’ll find assignments and activities students are to be working on.  If you have any concerns or questions, please be in touch.

READING

- 30 MINUTES DAILY READING

​

Students are to read 30 minutes daily. This can be done with own personal books, books from the school or online on Overdrive or Epic

NOVEL

We  are starting a new novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. I have added an online copy of the novel for students to read.  Check the novel tab for any further work to be completed.

School Supply

SPELLING

Grade 4's will have a spelling pre-test on week 13 on double letter words.  We will do a pretest on Tuesday.  Students are to self correct their words (any errors write out 3 times) when we complete this together.  Then students are to write their words into their agendas.  I have sent home a copy of their word work for week 13 to complete mid-week.  Students also have an assignment to complete on vocabularya-z.com.  Link to Vocabulary a-z is on this page.
